The Science

Inspired by the French word for “tight” Tendu PN + HA combines nature and science to help repair and restore tired skin while improving skin texture, tone and elasticity from the inside out.  Composed of Polynucleotide (PN) and Hyaluronic Acid, Tendu PN + HA stimulates cellular fibroblasts and collagen production, leaving glowing skin more resilient with improved elasticity, diminished fine lines, wrinkles and pores. Both PN and PDRN are typically extracted from salmon DNA, but PN undergoes additional purification processes and is considered a purer and more concentrated form of PDRN.

Both PN and PDO are known for their ability to improve skin hydration, texture, and tone, and to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.  PN treatments are primarily used for skin rejuvenation. They work by promoting collagen regeneration, improving skin elasticity, and enhancing overall skin health.  PDO is primarily used for lifting and tightening sagging skin through the mechanical support provided by the threads and the collagen stimulation as the threads dissolve.  The effects of PN injections typically last several months while the effects of PDO can last well over a year.

Polynucleotide (PN) offer several benefits for skin rejuvenation and regeneration

  1. Collagen and elastin production: Polynucleotides stimulate fibroblast cells to boost the production of collagen and elastin, improving skin tone and elasticity.
  2. Tissue regeneration: They enhance tissue regeneration and repair, helping to improve overall skin quality.
  3. Hydration: Polynucleotides have a hydrating effect, increasing the skin's moisture retention capabilities.
  4. Antioxidant properties: They act as powerful antioxidants, scavenging free radicals and reducing inflammation in the skin.
  5. Skin texture improvement: Polynucleotides help improve skin texture, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and pores.
  6. Cell renewal: They stimulate cell renewal, leading to improved skin glow and overall appearance.
  7. Wound healing: Polynucleotides act as wound healing agents, helping to improve scars, reduce stretch marks, and address various skin texture concerns.
  8. Even skin tone: By promoting repair mechanisms, polynucleotides can help improve skin discoloration and create a more even tone.
  9. Mild volumizing effect: While not as pronounced as dermal fillers, polynucleotides can produce a mild increase in volume and skin tightening.
  10. Versatility: Polynucleotides can be used on various areas of the face and body, including under-eye areas, forehead, neck, décolletage, and even the scalp for hair regrowth

Is it safe?

Polynucleotide (PN) treatments are generally considered safe, but like any medical procedure, they come with potential risks and side effects. Here are some key points regarding the safety of PN treatments:

Salmon DNA

Salmon DNA is very similar to human DNA. The highly purified particles ensure you only get the purest form of polynucleotides. Even an allergy to fish does not exclude you from taking advantage of this treatment. Unlike dermal fillers, the polynucleotides are suspended in water which means they disperse without any risk of blocking blood vessels.

Toxicity Studies

Acute and chronic toxicity studies in mice and rats have shown that PN (at doses of 8 mg/kg) does not exhibit toxic effects on vital organs such as the brain, liver, lungs, skeletal muscle, and heart. These studies also reported no mortality associated with PN.

Post-Marketing Surveillance

A post-marketing surveillance study over five years, involving more than 300,000 dispensed prescriptions, confirmed the excellent safety profile of PN.

Purity and Extraction Process

PN is extracted and purified at high temperatures, ensuring a product that is more than 95% pure. This process removes active proteins and peptides that could potentially cause immune reactions, thus enhancing its safety

Who is a good candidate?

The beauty of Tendu PN+ HA is that most people are good candidates whether they are a male or female, young or old. Each treatment takes approximately 10-15min with little to no downtime.
